twentytwo

this is how i started my year as a 21-year old.
but today i turned twentytwo. so i decided to make a list of some of the things i did for the first time as a 21 year old, as to show myself that i did accomplish things. got a few new experiences, learnt a bit more etc. have more anecdotes to tell kids and coworkers.
so when i was twentyone i did these things for the first time:

knew already after a few hours after meeting a person that we'd become great friends.


wore a long dress


wore black lenses. or lenses in general.


bought a furniture.


saw the cherry blossoms at kungsträdgården.


went to a weekday party.


went to a droneconcert 30meters under groundlevel.


saw efterklang live.


took edwin to finland.


went to pluto.


"rolled" my own cigarettes.


ate breakfast on my balcony.


ate artichoke.


went to edwin's summercottage.


went to longholmen.


slept under a table.


went to berlin.


used a single-use-grill.


had a picnic with my mother on her backyard.


died my hair much lighter. and curled it.


took pictures at the same time as i was biking.


babysitted a baby, had an actual scone-sundaybrunch, wore a duffel, saw the oscars from the beginning to the end.

the last two days we spent at cafes, took walks, ate more breakfasts ate more food listened to more music smoked more cigarettes and had more fights and played more games.

twentysomething

in the evening we celebrated tootsie who turned 21.






from me and edwin she got 21 gifts of varying quality. it was all very nice. we even made the firealarm go frantic due to the super cake"candles". more like rockets they were!

another lovely breakfast, nicolina making scrambled eggs to cure her heavy head, on the background the nicest of spring playlists composed by tootsie.

so i might as well dance and get down with the eurosport beat cause in just a few years it will all be too late

on friday evening i opened the door to tootsie who had worked hard at the pizzaplace and with her she brought a nicolina! and pizza of course. they decided to put on make up to do something out of the ordinary.






tequila sunrises, pizza and the fantastic game "settlers". think monopoly but more primitive. (mentioned should be that i won!) traditional girls night in to heal a broken heart. just like two years ago. this time it wasn't me who was hurting.

oh my morning's coming back, the whole world's waking up, all the city buses swimming past, i'm happy just because I found out I am really no one

we ate the first of many lovely breakfasts. i always liked breakfasts the most out of all meals that a day is supposed to include (okay, fyllekäk is also nice). tootsie worked some hours, i mainly slept and studied before welcoming guest number three.

on thursday i took off to västerås. tootsie lives there.


it's one of those apartments where you can always find nutella in the cupboard.
and earl grey of course, tootsie likes earl grey most of all teas.


we went through her old old papers and notes from ib-time and died a little of the nostalgiakick. funny how one can see only now what a great era that was. i guess that's the way it goes. after some years you see clearly the good and ignore the bad. (my favourite equation is still tragedy+time=comedy)

oscars

thanks to good initative from my class we decided to wear pretty clothes and see the oscars together along with cats and sparkling wine.











watch oscars from the beginning to the end - check. advantages of being surrounded by other people who are ready to mess up their sleep cycle for the sake of films.
