i have escaped to finland for awhile. i don't know if i like it, much because last week stockholm showed its best sides by being like this:
this was the day when we walked those 20km. few things go as well together with the cherryblossomtrees as old men.
somebody had hung shoes here. (and all i could think of was a certain song by scandinavian music group)
we found a second hand store between these sunshades. i wanted to steal one of them since they already had two anyways.
we also stopped by at Lisa Larssons. they played Billie Holiday.
i wanted to meet a new friend and start our friendship at Cafe String right there at the spot where the whole window is open åh how lovely.
few things are as happifying as chocolatiers and candy stores in general. bakeries as well.
i have this silly weakness for old men. i guess Freud would have lots to say about that.
FINALLY saker&ting had open! the owner thought i was "lovely and funny" because of the several patterns i was wearing. "vad tjusig du är, vad rolig du är!"
suddenly we were back at kungsträdgården. i want somebody to play this giant-chess with me there.
in the evening i went here. i still want everything from there. materia is nice. i bought a pair of expensive shoes.
because Juliette Sarkasm told me they looked nice. even though i myself can't anymore tell if they're whitetrashy or just summery Emma Buntonish.
and all the while i had this song stuck in my head.
