- elins hairswirls and dimples
- julias shoes
- fabric bags
- a thin ivan smoking on my balcony

down by the old stone church where the joe-pye weed and the mallows grow those petals bigger than my fist watch them bob and bow when the wind does blow
(i liked this door because it looked like somebody had just drawn it there)
favourites of today:
- to wake up, entirely drowsy, but still make out. drowsily.
- the area around engelbrektskyrkan
- shopping for groceries
- autumn.
- white hinterland

the horizon boasts a widowed light that punches pinholes between the sycamores and pines
on sunday johanna texted me and said that we should have a scone-brunch. so i packed my flour and green tea and other necessities and took a bus and a train to her place.
on our way to the store she talked about other lovely cheap grocery stores and about this great shopping centre near her home.
while waiting for others we spent time on the veranda or terrace or what is it called.
and low and behold i for sures am one of those who can take pictures of every phase of the baking and make such a good blog post of it all! no but really it was a really nice apple pie we baked so the world deserves the recipe:
the apple pie that everybody loved:
- get apples. bitter ones. straight from the tree. maybe six or seven.
- chop them into pieces. put cinnamon on them and mix and let them hang out while you do the rest.
- melt some butter. much of it. 400g to be exact.
- add sugar into a bowl. 3 dl.
- throw in the melted butter.
- add some flour. 2 dl. take some of this dough into another bowl.
- add oats (havregryn / kaurahiutaleita) into The Other Bowl until the dough is sort of thick but still not quite. estimate!
- now into the first bowl you shall add 3-4dl of flour and 1egg and 1,5dl of milk and 2teaspoons of baking powder and 2teaspoons of vanilla sugar and a little bit of salt.
- pour all of this on one of those big oven-forms. add apples. add sugar and cinnamon on top if you like (we did). add the oat-thingy from The Other Bowl.
- 30 min in 200degrees celsius!
serve with great amounts of vanillasauce mmmmm.
scones we made as well. even ate them with marmelade like your supposed to. take any recipe and add spinach and roasted nuts of your own choice. and oh yeah, lots of cheese too!
rest of the evening we spent watching music videos we like the most. sometimes i read some. sometimes we ate some more pie. this is one of my favourite ways to spend my free time.

hatut kakut ja onnelliset suhteet
saturday:
after having baked the lovliest and biggest of all them mudcakes we headed for a party
a hatparty!
it was mårten's birthdayparty. he lives with his own mimmi. and they are one of those couples that have been together an eternity and live together and have these sort of photos here and there. and who even seem to be so goddam happy. they are lovely peoples they are.
our cake was popular and my hat started to travel around
when my hat started climbing on other hats i figured it was a good time to take it home to get some sleep. an excellent evening!

it's the too-huge world vaulting us, and it's good-by. but we lean forward to the next crazy venture beneath the skies.
and here comes the last part of the interrail! and it looked like this:
we fell asleep in nice, ate breakfast in paris, had dinner and beer in brussels and finally fell asleep again in amsterdam (gah how cool that sounded). and don't you just love those boards that have those spinning-turning-swirling-alphabets.
i fell in love with amsterdam and it's bikes and canals.
and these homes, i should be living there with edwin
i tried really hard to make that longboard cooperate with me, it didn't.
tip! if you get hungry while strolling around amsterdam, go here and eat yourself stuffed on cheese-samples!
the redlight district turned strangely scenic as the sun had set. there were many swans as well. amsterdam was one of my favourites and our hosts were golden. i could live in that city.
but soon it was time to head home. i was reading slaughterhouse 5 and there was a baby screaming in the same traincabin. linda was trembling with annoyance hehe. i thought it funny and looked at these things instead:
one of the prettiest things in the whole wide world. and it felt good to be heading home again.

let your eyes grow big and your heart beat full share with me your now and past oh my dear
this is what i found on my second singleusecamera which is from last winter:
i looked very sad, edwin quite wornout, and then there was this beautiful couple with cool shirts
this is oskar and me, oskar is like a big brother, he lives in gdansk nowadays, sometimes i miss him
i also found pictures from last new years eve:
(moral questions: is it okay to publish pictures of your friends drunk? is it okay to publish a picture of two people kissing when now they are not in love anymore?)
then there was the time i went to babasonic because agnes wanted to. it was my first time there, so i decided to look like a poppare to blend in better.
otherwise i'm sure this would've been just one night amongst others but one of the greatest things happened there: i met johanna. but i was of course too shy to take a picture of her.
today i've been reading "never let me go" and i listen to songs like this and this and this.
